Berlin and Iranian Artists unite for „THIRD PROJECT“ Multimedia Art Exhibition

A groundbreaking multimedia art exhibition, „THIRD PROJECT,“ is set to open at the PROJEKTRAUM Kunstquartier Bethanien, featuring an innovative collaboration between Berlin-based and Iranian artists.

„THIRD PROJECT“ promises to be a captivating journey through the combined artistic visions of Sahar Mokhtari, Atefeh Khas, Farzin Foroutan, Jonathan Esperester, Armin Abdi, Saloumeh Souzanchi, and Samira Davarfara. This collaboration bridges cultural and geographical divides, presenting a diverse array of multimedia artworks, including installations, paintings, and photographs.
As the exhibition statement eloquently puts it: “We live in a world that is changing and transforming every moment, and these transformations expose us to experience things that we have never imagined before, that with a click and even a small touch, we can access information from miles away from us.
To find another part of the world and to see things freely that we were faced with technical, physical, cultural or political limitations to see them before is a concept of a kind of miracle. The miracle that bewitches and affects us, the image, photo and everything similar to it is one of the most powerful magics of our current century, a very complex concept whose philosophy has always been discussed.
This concept became the basis of the formation of our group since 2014.
The concept based on which we started creating our works in the form of two group exhibitions.
First, we chose some random images from the internet and finally agreed on one.
In this project, like the previous two projects (Random photo project), we have gone to the object of the image, an image that we found in the net space by chance.
Our image is freely chosen based on the collective agreement and interests of the group of artists, and we give ourselves the freedom to be inspired by it or even imitate it in the process of creating our work.

Eine bahnbrechende Multimedia-Kunstausstellung, „THIRD PROJECT“, wird im PROJEKTRAUM Kunstquartier Bethanien eröffnet und präsentiert eine innovative Zusammenarbeit zwischen Künstlern aus Berlin und dem Iran.

„THIRD PROJECT“ verspricht eine fesselnde Reise durch die kombinierten künstlerischen Visionen von Sahar Mokhtari, Atefeh Khas, Farzin Foroutan, Jonathan Esperester, Armin Abdi, Saloumeh Souzanchi und Samira Davarfara zu werden. Diese Zusammenarbeit überbrückt kulturelle und geografische Grenzen und präsentiert eine vielfältige Auswahl an Multimedia-Kunstwerken, darunter Installationen, Gemälde und Fotografien.
Wie es im Ausstellungstext treffend heißt: „Wir leben in einer Welt, die sich ständig verändert und transformiert, und diese Transformationen lassen uns Dinge erleben, die wir uns nie zuvor vorgestellt haben. Mit einem Klick und sogar einer kleinen Berührung können wir Informationen abrufen, die meilenweit von uns entfernt sind.
Einen anderen Teil der Welt zu finden und Dinge frei zu sehen, denen wir zuvor durch technische, physische, kulturelle oder politische Einschränkungen nicht begegnen konnten, ist ein Konzept von einer Art Wunder. Das Wunder, das uns verzaubert und beeinflusst, das Bild, Foto und alles Ähnliche ist eine der mächtigsten Magien unseres aktuellen Jahrhunderts, ein sehr komplexes Konzept, dessen Philosophie immer diskutiert wurde.
Dieses Konzept wurde 2014 zur Grundlage der Gründung unserer Gruppe. Das Konzept, auf dem wir begonnen haben, unsere Werke in Form von zwei Gruppenausstellungen zu schaffen.
Zuerst wählten wir einige zufällige Bilder aus dem Internet und einigten uns schließlich auf eines. In diesem Projekt, wie auch in den vorherigen zwei Projekten (Random photo project), haben wir uns dem Objekt des Bildes zugewandt, einem Bild, das wir zufällig im Netz gefunden haben.
Unser Bild wird frei gewählt, basierend auf dem kollektiven Einvernehmen und den Interessen der Künstlergruppe, und wir geben uns die Freiheit, uns davon inspirieren zu lassen oder es sogar im Schaffensprozess nachzuahmen.“
